New Gale Scholar archives now available

The new Gale Scholar archives for 2018 are now available for history & humanities students, researchers and academics. Covering 500 years of international history, the additional Gale content consists over 106 million pages including the full suite of monograph-based and other primary source collections.

The material contains books, maps, photographs, newspapers, periodicals, pamphlets, letters, music manuscripts and ephemera – all of which provides the infrastructure for multi-disciplinary research in history, social sciences and the humanities. The metadata within the collections also facilitates text mining and data analysis for digital scholarship.

The collections are: 17th and 18th Century Burney Collection Newspapers, 19th Century UK Periodicals, American Civil Liberties Union Papers, American Fiction, 1774-1920, Archives Unbound, Archives of Sexuality and Gender, Associated Press Collections Online Archive, Book Review Index Plus, Brazilian-Portuguese History and Culture, British Library Newspapers, British Literary Manuscripts Online, Chatham House Online Archive, China from Empire to Republic.
